About Dr. Berg
Dr. Michael Berg is a Scientific Consultant active in the fields of toxicology, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, and safety. Dr. Berg received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Baylor University and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Toxicology from Texas A&M University. Since completion of his doctorate, Dr. Berg has spent over a decade assisting clients with chemical- or contamination-related issues as it pertains to exposure quantification, risk assessment, regulatory conformance, and/or disease development. Dr. Berg has provided on-scene toxicology, chemical expertise, and technical management on dozens of large-scale hazardous materials (HAZMAT) incidents in addition to assisting companies with their day-to-day environmental media monitoring, risk assessment, emergency plan development, and occupational health and safety needs. Additionally, Dr. Berg often provides consulting services as an expert in Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene, and/or Safety for issues related to chemical and/or particulate matter (i.e., dust and diesel exhaust) exposure, air quality assessments, pesticides, and safety-related topics to include confined spaces and falls.
