Vijay Manthripragada serves as President and Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Onterris Board of Directors. He brings leadership experience across high-growth businesses, finance, and health care, and has guided the company’s transformation into a leading environmental pure play focused on delivering long-term value for employees, clients, and shareholders. He was recognized as a 2022 “CEO Who Gets It” by the National Safety Council for his commitment to workplace safety and employee well-being.
Before joining Onterris, Vijay was Chief Executive Officer of PetCareRx, Inc., a high-growth technology and e-commerce company in pet health. Earlier, he served as a Senior Vice President in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs. He also worked as a Director at The Advisory Board Company and completed the Johnson & Johnson Leadership (Management) Development Program.
Vijay earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Duke University and the University of Oxford.
He co-founded White Buffalo Tiospaye, a youth shelter supporting Lakota Sioux children on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and helped establish a children’s hospital foundation in Central and Eastern Europe. He also serves on the Board of The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, and, together with his wife Lauren, supports organizations including MIT’s Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, Boston Children’s Hospital and Runway for Recovery.
