Mr. Miguel Fernandez de Castro serves on the Onterris Board of Directors and has been a Director since December 2013. He has served as Executive Chairman of ExamWorks Group, Inc., a provider of independent medical examination services, since January 2026. At ExamWorks, Mr. Fernandez de Castro previously served as Chief Executive Officer from August 2024 to December 2025, Co-Chief Executive Officer from January 2020 to August 2024, and as Chief Financial Officer from March 2009 to March 2025.
Before ExamWorks, Mr. Fernandez de Castro served as Senior Vice President and later Chief Financial Officer and Vice President and Controller at TurboChef Technologies, Inc. Earlier, he held roles at PracticeWorks, Inc. He began his career in the audit services group at BDO Seidman, LLP.
Mr. Fernandez de Castro earned a BA in Economics and Spanish and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia.
