Luke Amies is a Principal Environmental Scientist at Onterris, with more than 20 years of experience in contaminated land assessment and environmental consulting across Australia.
Luke is a Licensed Asbestos Assessor and Certified Site Contamination Specialist, and a Suitably Qualified Person under Queensland’s Environmental Protection Act. He has led soil and groundwater contamination projects across a range of complex sites, including former gasworks and gold mining operations. Luke specializes in remediation strategy development, risk assessment and environmental modeling, applying sound science and practical judgment to deliver effective, defensible outcomes. His experience spans soil, sediment and groundwater assessment, as well as human health and environmental risk evaluation.
